  • 2006 Winter happenings
    Yeah, well I’ve been remiss in my image updates for the family. Anyway, here’s a set of images that sort of show what the family - mainly the kids - was up to during this past winter.

  • Shay & Rusty’s Sept. Visit
    We were lucky enough to have Shay and Rusty spend a couple of days with us when they visited in September. Too bad that the weather wasn’t better than what they were having in AK, but we had fun none the less. Thrill to the Yerkes Observatory! Ooh and Ahh at Edward’s Apple Orchard! See the popcorn sale! Experience Chuck E Cheese! Explore spooky indoor golf! Watch midnight (not really) basketball!
  • End of Summer 2006
    Man, this seems like a lifetime ago when the temperatures here in northern IL were in the 70s and 80s. Now in mid-October, we have low 50s and 40s. Well to bring back a little bit of that liquid gold called sunshine, here are some pictures from our end of the summer weekend. Towards the end are pictures of the kids on the first day of school too.
  • 2006 Boy Scout Day Camp
    The son and I spent a week in the sun at a local Boy Scout day camp. He was the scout and I was the adult helper. We both had fun. Check out the pictures!
  • Civil War Days 2006
    Some images of me and the kids at the Lake County Civil War Days. We all had a lot of fun seeing the sights, talking with the re-enactors and watching the big battle. We all want to do it again next year!
  • Girl Scouts at Brookfield Zoo

  • Morton Arboretum
    The family sepnt a wonderful Fall day in the bright sunshine at Morton Arboretum. Lots of sights to be seen and things to be done and a humorous ending to the day.
  • Chicago - Field Museum Adventure
    What to do during the day in Chicago? Go to the Field Museum to see the sights - especially Sue the T-Rex!
